Now there was an idea. Maybe Jensen was online; he smiled at the thought as he signed on to his messenger. His grin only widened when he saw Jensen's screenname on his buddy list. And all thoughts of the paper were quickly pushed out of his mind as he typed a greeting.
He wasn't sure what it was, about talking to Jensen, that always made him smile. But he was already in a better mood. There wasn't anything better than a little friendly teasing over instant messenger.
"Hey man, I'm going to head out for the night." Jensen looked up as Chris got up from his bed, pulling on his coat. "My girlfriend's parent's are out of town tonight, so I'm going to stay over there."
"Oh, alright." Jared nodded, and waved to Chris as he pulled the door closed behind him.
Jared couldn't help pouting a bit when Jensen teased that he might not come over for the night. It wasn't as if they got a chance to spend the night together every night, and Jared wanted to take advantage of the fact that Chris was out of the room for the night.
Why, tonight of all nights, did Jensen have to be so damn frustrating. Why couldn't he just be sweet and nice, and come over so Jared could fuck him into the mattress for a few hours before they went to sleep? It just wasn't fair.
And he was so cocksure about everything too; he always had to have the right answer, always had to be perfect.
Tonight was one of those nights where that just drove Jared nuts.
Even as he was still frustrated with Jensen, Jared couldn't help but be a little relieved and smiled that Jensen actually was coming over for the night. He did his best to calm down before Jensen got there; he really didn't want to fight. It wasn't worth it.
Ten minutes is a really long time, a really fucking long time. Jared wasn't sure he could take much more waiting, and just as he was about to get up and start pacing there was a knock on the door. He jumped, all his anxious waiting making him jumpy, and got up to open the door.
And there was Jensen standing there with a smug grin on his face as he waited to be let in.
Jared rolled his eyes and stepped aside so Jensen could come inside, before he shut the door again.
"Not pouting anymore, I see." Jensen grinned as he climbed into Jared's bed, kicking off his shoes as he lay back.
"I wasn't earlier, either." Jared denied as he pulled out his computer chair to sit, rather than join Jensen on the bed.
"Oh yeah, that's right." Jensen nodded and lay his head back on the pillow, closing his eyes. "Going to join me, or are you going to sit there staring the rest of the night?"
Jared opened his mouth to say something smart, but closed it again and shook his head. He stood up and pounced on top of Jensen covering him completely, and grinning that big goofy grin as he looked down at the smaller man.
"This better, then?" He grinned and kissed Jensen before he could say anything.
"Oh sure, I mean, breathings overrated isn't it." Jensen smiled and shook his head. Jared really did look pretty cute when he smiled like that - and those dimples.
Jared leaned down to kiss Jensen again, and again, and again. Finally he had pity on Jensen and rolled off of him, pushing his jeans down and kicking them off as he pulled another pillow to him.
They were both quiet for a few minutes, just enjoying being close to one another. Jensen rolled on his side, and then smirked. Jared was asleep, his mouth already hanging open as he slept. Jensen did his best not to snicker, and moved slowly pushing himself out of bed, to turn off the lights.
He climbed back into bed beside Jared, who was mumbling something in his sleep about really, he wasn't pouting. Jensen leaned over and pushed Jared's hair back off his forehead and kissed him gently before pulling the blanket over them both and nuzzling up against Jared's side.
Good luck on finals, everyone who has them.
